Shah Rukh Khan addresses 'Don 3', via Twitter

Good news for all Shah Rukh Khan fans! Don 3 will have Shah Rukh playing the role of Don once again! Right after the last Don2 was released, director Farhan Akhtar had begun toying with the idea of making one more sequel of Don. The Don franchise of Akhtar – SRK combination had been fetching a lot of money both in India and abroad.

When the first time Farhan Akhtar had joined hands with Shah Rukh Khan to remake the classic movie, Don starring Amitabh Bachchan, though there were comparisons aplenty, the chic movie making style was the biggest draw for the new remade film that starred Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta and Boman Irani in the pivotal roles. Producer, Ritesh Sidhwani has confirmed the news that the film will indeed have one more sequel and that has to have none by SRK playing Don’s role that he has played in the last two films.

The first time Don was made by Farhan, the story was given a modern day twist with majority of the film being shot in Kuala Lumpur. The Don 2 saw the Don entering the international drug syndicate scene in Berlin and few parts in Malaysia and few scenes in South East Asian countries. The first movie was very stylishly shot and the last one too had its few breath-taking moments.

Now, the last two dons had all the above mentioned actors in major roles, but the next may or may not have them. Even Priyanka’s role is not confirmed yet. Almost half of the script is ready as reports have it. Farhan had, after the last Don decided to take a break and looks like any day now, we would be able to catch our favorite Don cutting through a stream in a liner. #sabfilmyhai
