Up for a Bollywood-style fairytale? One in which two bitter foes come together over a revved-up set-piece involving India and Pakistan, flag-waving patriots, bigots-turned-pacifists, an adorable little girl, and a superstar named Salman Khan? Phir bhaiyya, and behena, ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ le le re. The fact that the film would be a highly-anticipated Eid releases was known.
But no one could have anticipated that the stormy relationship between the two nations would be a Page One newspaper headline on the very day the film is out: the border is burning, and tensions are riding high. That’s in the real world. Just the right time for a film to tell us how it can be, in an alternate universe.
Why not dive into the reel world in which the boil can be reduced to a simmer, and a simper-and-smile, piggybacking on the one and only Bhaijaan, who is in search of redemption himself? You can have all these very complex , very meta thoughts running through your head as you watch the Hanuman-worshipping Bajrangi (Salman Khan, his blue-stone bracelet replaced by the red-yellow ‘kaleva dhaga’), the simpleton with a large, loving heart, and the Pakistani Shahida aka Munni (Harshaali), the little girl who’s lost her voice but not her ability to charm, romp through a film which has been unabashedly constructed as a massy entertainer.
It is also smartly aimed at the tear-ducts of those who sit on the fence in the matter of whether a performer’s real-life transgressions should affect the way we perceive his reel-life persona. Got an emotional jugular? Bajrangi Bhaijaan is coming for you, hammer and tongs. - See more at:
Frankly, all of it. Extraordinary visual effects & a suitable background score enhance the film’s plot. What absolutely stands out is the war sequence in the film; it took them 200 days to shoot the elaborate action.
The detailing, precisions & sheer aggression of this war sequence makes ‘Bahubali’ a one of it’s kind film. Bodies pile up faster than a city’s garbage, and weapons from Indian tales are used most imaginatively. Yet you can’t get enough of it! That it merges weaponry from Indian epics & Amar Chitra Katha with technical wizardry of 21st century VFX, makes this portion stand out from Hollywood comparisons. see more at :

Another good reason is that the film has some of the best dancers of the country, including Dharmesh, Lauren Gottlieb etc as part of its cast, thus making it a fairly entertaining watch for dance enthusiasts. Varun Dhawan plays Suresh, one of the leaders of the dance group, which had to face national humiliation as it is caught 'copying' from another group. Vinnie (Shraddha Kapoor) is the enthusiastic, only female member of the group and is secretly in love with Suresh. After the fiasco in the Indian dance competition, Suresh plans to take the troupe to the world championship, but it won't come easy for the troupe, given the limited financial and other resources. Reluctant Vishnu sir (Prabhudheva) is roped in to help them out from this crisis. - See more at >
Quite soon into the film, Prabhudeva’s character says : ‘should I show or tell’? In a dance movie, is that even a question? As it turns out, the showing perks up ‘ABCD 2′. A little. When Prabhudeva is on the floor, there is a snap and pop, even though his moves are familiar. A couple of numbers do crackle. There are two dancers in here who are amazing. But the rest of them, and their sequences, turn into the seen-this-so-what’s-new glaze. And when the film stops to look around for a story, which it does much too frequently in its two- and-a-half-hour run time, it turns banal and listless.
A group of underdog hip-hop dancers, reviled for copying, want to resurrect their name. In the movie’s beginning is its end. The only way a film like this can beat predictability is to deliver as many surprises as it can. But the writing department is the weakest : clichés abound as the characters whirl about frantically in an attempt to shed cardboard.
Remo D’Souza’s latest, ABCD 2, suffers from a strange problem — it’s let down by its very raison d'être: dance. For a film revolving around a hip hop dance championship, one expects actors to break into twists regularly, but ABCD 2’s many and needlessly frequent dance sequences make it less of a film and more of a bunch of loosely-strung music videos that can’t tell a compelling story. Worse, they end up inflating the film’s runtime: 155 minutes feels at least 30 minutes more than it actually is or needs to be. See more at >
Prabhu Dheva will be seen in a negative role in this film. The film will explore the real life struggle of choreographers Aryan Suresh, Vinnie and Vernon from Nallasopara (Mumbai suburb), who went on to win the World Hip-Hop dance championship.
The sequel promises to be even bigger in scale with current heartthrobs Varun Dhawan and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead and the inimitable dancing Star Prabhudheva reprising his role of Vishnu Sir.
The story traces the journey of an Indian dance troupe, a motley assortment of boys and girls who come from the backstreets of a Mumbai suburb; their rise to fame, sudden downfall and then their heroic attempt to seek vindication by regaining their lost glory and pride. #see more at

Jurassic World evokes the same sense of excitement and awe that we saw in the very first Jurassic Park movie and builds on it, giving the creatures we see on screen a palpable sense of realism, that's completely compelling. Although the film is safely formulaic, it is executed with finesse. The effects are superb, the action is supersized and ultimately, if there is just one word that can describe this movie, that word would be 'awesome'.

The underlying message of this self referencing film is: We are going to give you some CGI-filled mayhem which will be akin to Transformers-meets-Sharknado. Just don't blame us when shit hits the fan. The CGI falls eons short of Jurassic Park's realistic feel. It looks fake in places and forced in others. How we miss those practical effects of Spielberg which made the first film terrifyingly real. Now, to the billion dollar question: Is the film as good as Jurassic Park? No, it is not but it is a worthy successor.

Overall, despite JURASSIC WORLD being predictable in parts, it does not fail to amaze you, developing into a fitting sequel to its predecessors. The film is for both, the young audiences who haven't seen the series on the big screen and also for the ones who have been following it for decades. JURASSIC WORLD is surely a big screen experience that is not to be missed, especially if you can catch it on IMAX 3D.

While it’s easy to lament the kind of films born out of Spielberg’s box office record-setter, “Jurassic Park” was — and still is — a kind of pop perfection that has since been endlessly copied but rarely equaled. “Jurassic World,” the latest incarnation of the franchise, is lacking the deft sense of wonderment, wit and suspense that guided the original.

Jurassic World will definitely entertain you after the last two extra, extra large and mildly disappointing sequels. This film definitely captures the Spielbergian factor of horror and wonderment, added with Trevorrow’s sense of self-reflecting humour and chaos. And in world of panic and joy, Trevorrow, Pratt and the monstrous Indominus Rex make quite a team.

What’s Good: The Mehra’s are classy with their tastes and it is fun to unlearn the warped problems of this dysfunctional family. The performances are good enough to sail this cruise.
What’s Bad: A not-so-perfect plot that drags for two and a half hours with not one chart buster to enjoy.
Loo break: You could use one!
Watch or Not?: Dil Dhadakne Do is not a massy film and that is where it may lose a good chunk of its audience. The film has a distinctive approach towards familial bonds and that may not go well with everyone.
Kamal Mehra is a millionaire who is facing bankruptcy with his company AYKA. Star Cast: Farhan Akhtar, Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra, Anushka Sharma, Anil Kapoor, Shefali Shah
Director: Zoya Akhtar
Directed by debutant director Vikramjit Singh, Roy is surely a romantic thriller with a mixture of action, suspense and romance which is really an uncommon factor in Bollywood.
- PLOT: To discuss the plot from the movie Roy, Arjun Rampal (Kabir Grewal) plays the function of the effective film-maker while, Ranbir Kapoor (Roy) is viewed as a wise mysterious crook and lovely Jacqueline Fernandez oddly enough has double roles within the film. While, Ranbir Kapoor makes money by robbery and that he remains untraceable through the police,
Arjun Rampal makes lots of money by looking into making films around the existence of Roy, which become super-hits in the Box Office. Jacqueline Fernandez (Ayesha) also seems like a film-maker and will get mingled with Arjun Rampal who carries a picture of the play-boy. While, the first area of the movie Roy is mainly about Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez's romance, the video becomes interesting like a love triangular commences, with several mysteries connected with Jacqueline Fernandez and Ranbir Kapoor getting unfolded.
- Performance: Director Vikramjit Singh tried to create something unorthodox using the movie Roy having a superb star-cast, obviously. Speaking concerning the performance, Arjun Rampal dons the function of the proud, arrogant and effective film-maker pretty much by having an attitude. Ranbir Kapoor like a charming and wise crook keeps the mystery in the character intact throughout the film, though his presence within the film is pretty short.
Jacqueline Fernandez, aside from adding glamour quotient towards the film Roy, also offers enough scope to demonstrate her prowess being an actress and also the diva does considerable justice to her role. Apart from Arjun, Ranbir and Jacqueline, Anupam Kher (as Kabir's father) and Shibani Dandekar (Zoya) also justified their roles. Like a director, Vikramjit Singh attempted to include all of the necessary elements within the movie Roy which are needed with an entertaining Bollywood film. Aside from the strong star-cast along with a gripping story-line, Roy provides you with with a few eye-catching locations and soothing music.
- Loopholes: However, the film Roy isn't lacking of some loopholes. A few of the transitions are little confusing while, certain moments seem to be unnecessarily forced making the 147 minutes lengthy movie somewhat pulled. Verdict: Inside a nut spend, Vikramjit Singh's Roy starring Arjun Rampal, Ranbir Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez could be a good watch, both to celebrate Valentine's too for individuals who love thrill.

REVIEW: In terms of story, Wild Card seems to be extracted right out of blank pages. There is no story per se but a series of instances lazily strewn together. But what is striking here is that the deftness of Simon West's unusual thrills doesn't allow the vital flaws get the better of the movie. Banking solely on the slick action to work as the film's saving grace, it can be safely said that this is a problematic movie which is watchable yet forgettable.
Gamblers beware. If you think the odds are high that a Vegas-set Jason Statham movie – and one directed by Simon West (The Expendables 2) – will include lots of skull busting and slot machine smashing, then you may want to lower your bets.
Not that Wild Card doesn’t have a few vintage Stathamanical beat downs, with such items as a credit card, a tablespoon and a pair of garden shears used in ways you could only imagine. But the action otherwise takes a back seat to boilerplate dramatics and offbeat existential brooding in this underwhelming though slickly helmed crime flick, which was adapted – and not for the first time – by the great William Goldman (Marathon Man) from his own novel. Released mid-January in France before going out Stateside at the end of the month, the film should cash in on Statham’s loyal fan base, but will be a letdown to anyone looking for a real thrill ride.
So a guy walks into a bar. He’s got a skuzzy mustache, a rug, and he’s about to meet his girl and beg her to come with him. Somewhere. Anywhere. She’s hesitant. Suddenly, a steely drunk comes up to the guy and starts kicking up some shit. The mustache man and his vixen bolt, and the drunk comes come out to keep at it. The mustache, takes offense, and knocks the drunk out. The girl fawns. Our hero.

Going by the lyrics of one of the songs in Tevar one understands that Pintu (Arjun Kapoor) is Salman ka fan and in the rest of the film he tries to do what Salman does best, herogiri. Pintu says he is a combination of Terminator, Rambo and Salman Khan and the Kapoor khandaan may believe that too but others would disagree, Arjun is still not actor enough to pull off what Salman Khan does.
Pintu stays in Agra with his family. His cop father (Raj Babbar) keeps telling him to stay away from trouble but that doesn't happen. He gets into some serious trouble after he beats up Bahubali Gajender Singh (Manoj Bajpayee) to protect damsel in distress, Radhika (Sonakshi Sinha) who is leaving for Delhi then for US because she doesn't want to marry Gajender Singh.
Amit Sharma's remake of the Telugu hit Okkadu (2003) comes too late to Bollywood. Times have changed and so have Bollywood movies. The era of small town politicians and goon films is almost over. Even Ajay Devgn has moved on from that genre now.
REVIEW: Hell hath no fury like a politician scorned. This stands true for the better part of India where every minister is a government unto himself. So you have Mathura's minister-cum-goonda Gajender Singh (Manoj Bajpayee) wooing collegian Radhika (Sonakshi Sinha). When she rejects his marriage proposal, he vows to get the girl by hook or by crook.
Tevar" is a remake of Mahesh Babu and Bhumika Chawla's Blockbuster Telugu film "Okkadu". The movie is about how a Kabbadi player rescues a girl from a dangerous faction leader, who is in love with her. Amit Sharma has adapted the same story with some changes in the screenplay to impress the Hindi audience.
The wonderful performances by Arjun Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha and Manoj Bajpayee, lead pair's amazing chemistry, trendy music, beautiful cinematography, stylishly-choreographed action and dance sequences are the main highlights of the film, say the audience.

| Ugly Hindi Movie |
Writer-director Anurag Kashyap is in top form in this suspense thriller that has you by the b...ls from the start. While the pace does dip in the second half, what makes Ugly tick is the searing honesty with which it is told. It's not for the faint-hearted, but for those who are willing to let the morally decrepit live.
Ratings:3/5 Review By: Saibal Chaterjee Site:NDTV
Ugly is about a bunch of perverse people fishing in troubled waters as the mystery of the missing girl deepens. The screenplay and the directorial methods are direct and realistic. Ugly works best when it focuses on the depression-afflicted woman who contemplates different ways of committing suicide. This may not be Anurag Kashyap’s best film, but it is infinitely and indescribably better than all the muck that mainstream Bollywood passed off for entertainment this year.
Ratings:4.5/5 Review By: Raja Sen Site:Rediff
Ugly is a tale of torment, masterfully woven around the universally urgent trigger of a disappearing minor — and yet where, in the larger scheme of things, that kidnapping itself becomes, I daresay, a minor detail. Genius.
Ratings:2/5 Review By: Shubhra Gupta Site:Indian Express
‘Ugly’ takes that darkness to an extreme, even more so that his first, unreleased ‘Paanch': a little girl goes missing, and what happens subsequently (and consequently) does not just flow from the fear and anguish that result from the disappearance, but also from anger and old resentment and twisted feelings and present torment. Kashyap’s point is to show up the ugliness that all humans have within them, that no one is innocent. But the plot starts to get a little too busy and begins to shoot off here and there.
Oh, the film being referred to is scarcely a cutting edge Dr. Strangelove or a take-no-detainees sendup in the vein of South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut. Still, standard-bearers for the First Amendment frequently come in improbable structures. At times and unquestionably on account of this scattered, incessantly ass-fixated comic drama opportunity means remaining up for comedians' entitlement to make fun of a leader of state's gut capacities.
Since a large number of the best jokes in The Interview have nothing to do with North Korea, its value recapping the subordinate disorder that the Sony programmers would have smothered. Franco stars as Dave Skylark, the egotistic, airheaded host of a VIP tattle program. He scores an overthrow when Eminem, on cam, makes an impromptu declaration that he's gay, provoking joy in the control room. An alternate of Dave's scoops includes Rob Lowe's turning out as a mystery uncovered individual ("His head seems as though someone's pollute!" somebody from the stall shouts). Anyhow Dave's maker, Aaron (Rogen), longs for validity. A larky call grounds them a meeting with Kim Jong-un (Veep's Randall Park, a commendable thwart to his better-known co-stars), apparently a Skylark superfan. Before long, the CIA turns up with a demand that the two kill him.
Their preparation, at which its never fully clear to Dave that a CIA specialists (Lizzy Caplan) is controlling them (Aaron calls it "honeypotting"—its "honeydicking" when a man does it), strays a bit a long way from the fundamental sarcastic target. Furthermore there are different extends when the comic drama goes somewhat level or off-subject. Aaron has an experience with a Siberian tiger and plays with a saucy proselytizer (a diversion Diana Bang); there is unending talk of whether a huge article ought to be pushed up a real hole. A significant part of the film is dedicated to the hit-and-miss (however unusually moving) riffing between the main men.
Anyway the North Korea scenes are frequently extremely clever, with large portions of the jokes having a go at the cost of the fish-out-of-water guests. Dave is the sort of individual who, as babble, will coolly say that he hears the whole country is starving to death. The focal pride, scarcely one of a kind to the motion picture, is that Kim ends up being a misjudged bro and mystery softy who preferences impacting Katy Perry's "Firecracker" while driving his vintage tank. "You recognize additionally damaging than an atomic bomb?" he asks Dave as the two go one-on-one on the ball court. "Words."
Indeed in a comic drama with such a bravely vapid reason, this is a punch that appears bound to be pulled. Any (previous) mass-discharge film is prone to have its impart of sermonizing. Dave will find that North Korea's supermarkets aren't Pyongyang's response to Whole Foods, and he and Kim won't arrange a peace arrangement over several brewskis. Having finished the world recently a year ago in This Is The End, Rogen and his co-executive, Evan Goldberg, can't precisely play that card once more. The substance of the film's finale has as of now been broadly reported. By the norms of Cold War pop-music score-settling, its not as disastrous as the "We'll Meet Again" arrangement from Dr. Strangelove, however it is more brutal than any montage in Rocky

Though the storytelling is seamless, PK does seem to lack the punch that his earlier films had. Though the screenplay (Abhijat Joshi and Rajkumar Hirani) of the film is comprehensive and engrossing, with humorous situations and entertaining dialogues, the narrative does get slow at a certain points. PK however hits the right notes and entertains. On the whole, Aamir Khan's PK is a solid entertainer that will surely entertain the masses and classes alike. An outstanding film. Go for it. | 'The Hobbit: The Battle of The Five Armies' : Review |
What's hot: Despite not being on the scale that The Lord of the Rings trilogy was mounted on, The Hobbit trilogy holds its own superbly. It needs to be watched to realise how prequels should be made. You feel every emotion - a lump in the throat when someone grieves, a teary eye when a character you love dies. Peter Jackson and the brilliant cast and technical team he has put together never let you have a dull moment.
What's not: One needs to remember that The Hobbit itself was a slim volume, not a trilogy. The length of the film doesn't seem as bad, but a little tighter editing wouldn't hurt.
What to do: Whatever you do, don't miss this film. And before you do, fish out the DVDs of the first two Hobbit films and watch them back-to-back. It's a treat for the senses.

This could have been an entertainingly retro comic-book revenge saga, especially because it has a dashing bad girl who has more screen time, and much more neon-lit presence, than everyone else in the flick . But Prabhu Dheva doesn’t have the skill-sets to instill the that knowing edge into his material; he shows no awareness, in fact, that it is risible. #Visit Site for more

From the first scene to the last, Action Jackson is cringe-inducing film that revels in scraping the bottom of the barrel.Action Jackson, a surefire Golden Kela contender, could give Humshakals a run for its money. Give it a miss.#Visit Site for more

It is an uneven, tacky, cheesy actioner, a film that has much going catastrophically wrong but it is also -- surprise, surprise -- at times incredibly zany . Action Jackson is a drinking game of a film, one well over the so-bad-it’s-good line, its main merit being that in a sea of superstar-massaging vehicles, it holds some genuine surprises -- and makes sure its hero looks like a jackass. Skip the first half and smuggle in a quart of something bitter, and you’ll be just fine.

Action Jackson has every ingredient his films have -- mindless story, gravity-defying action, cliched dialogues and funny-looking villains. To put it briefly, watch Action Jackson if you are a Prabhudheva or Ajay Devgn fan, because otherwise there isn't a single dialogue you haven't heard and this is one of the films where they say 'Do not take your brains to the theatres'.

ACTION JACKSON being a Bollywood film, the look and feel of the film is that of loud South Indian films. While the film drags in the first half endlessly, the second half too barely has anything in it to hold the audience's attention. The film has no script whatsoever and has been put together haphazardly on the editing table glued together which non-sensical graphics and animation. On the whole, ACTION JACKSON is a highly avoidable affair. #Visit Site for more

Several heads are decapitated and torsos slashed in action drama Action Jackson, but it’s the viewers who feel the pain. There’s no easier way to say this: but Ajay Devgn’s latest film is traumatic and is an endurance test of the worst kind. There’s no redeeming feature in Action Jackson, a film that’s purely self-indulgent. Skip it.# Visit Site for more
