Kangana Ranaut refuses Salman Khan's Sultan

Mumbai: And the ‘Queen’ turns down the ‘Sultan’. After buzz that Bollywood beauty Kangana Ranaut might just bag the role opposite Salman Khan in the upcoming Yash Raj flick ‘Sultan’, reports on Sunday state that the actress has turned down the part.
This will be the second time within a span of one year that Kangana has opted out of being Salman’s leading lady- the first being ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ that was then given to Kareena Kapoor.
Reports on DNA state that the actress was approached by Aditya to play the part of the leading lady, who will be on-par with Salman’s character of a wrestler. The role demanded a heroine who was a lot ‘meatier’ and one that won’t be a ‘showpiece’.
While ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ didn’t interest the star, reports state that she turned down ‘Sultan’ as the dates clashed with her next, Vishal Bharadwaj’s ‘Rangoon’. The film will see the actress star opposite Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan.
